After downing Sunderland 3-1 over the weekend, Arsenal have drawn Burnley to come to the Emirates for the fourth round of the 2015-16 FA Cup.
The two teams have met each other in the FA Cup four times: in 2008-09, 2007-08, 1897-98 and 1895-96. Arsenal won the most recent two matches and, as we all remember so vividly, lost the two 19th century matches.
The game will take place over the January 30-31 weekend. As of right now, Arsenal are facing Southampton the following Tuesday.
On the injury front, Tomáš Rosický is back in training and Alexis Sánchez is soon to return as well. Danny Welbeck might be in the mix as the fixture approaches as well, though we haven't gotten any firm updates since reports of a potential setback were quashed back in mid-December.
As it stands, Arsenal are riding a 12-game FA Cup winning streak having won both the 2014-15 FA Cup as well as the 2013-14 tournament as well. Their last loss in the FA Cup was to Blackburn in February 2013.
Relegated to the Championship after finishing in 19th in the Premier League last season, Burnley are currently in 5th place in a battle for promotion back into the Premier League.
