It's January now, and you know what that means: the transfer window is open! It also means it is time for agents around the world of soccer to use the transfer window to try to get improved contracts for their clients. Enter Lorenzo Insigne, a Napoli forward, and his agent Antonio Ottaiano.

Speaking to something called Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, Ottaiano said:

We are delighted with the interest of the PSG and Arsenal. We are talking about two clubs at the top of world football, but Lorenzo is focused on Napoli and the team’s collective goals. This is a good season for Napoli. The team is fighting on all fronts and Insigne wants to win every game. He wears jersey he dreamed of wearing when he was little and he will give everything to satisfy the fans.

We've been linked with Insigne in the past, and probably nothing's going to come of it this time either. I talked to Conor Dowley from The Siren's Song, and he told me that Ottaiano has been trying all season to get Insigne paid, so I'm going to assume that's what this is until another explanation presents itself. Which stinks, because honestly I'd really like to sign him.
