A great many Arsenal fans have never known an Arsenal that has not been in the Champions League. This is the 18th straight season Arsenal have been in the Champions League, which is a feat that only one other English team can claim. Manchester United has a record streak of 18 straight appearances, a mark which ended prior to last season, so next season Arsenal should beat that record. Real Madrid has the two all time streaks - they appeared in the first 15 European Champions Cup tournaments, and have been in the last 19 Champions Leagues.
Anyway, back to the matter at hand - Arsenal travel to Croatia to face Croatian League champions (and former home of Eduardo) Dinamo Zagreb. We all know the cliche about there being no easy games at this level, and this is especially true here - on paper, Arsenal should win easily, but the crowd will be hostile and Zagreb will be eager to contain Arsenal's attack, so this could easily be one of those Frustrating European Nights. Unless, of course, the obscene amount of chances Arsenal are creating lately start to find their target, then this game could be a lot of fun.
