Remember when John Terry grumbled that Arsenal would pick up 10-12 points this season after it was announced that longtime Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech moved to the right side of London this summer? Arsenal might have picked up one of those points on Monday, as Cech made several incredible saves to preserve the team's scoreless draw against Liverpool.

To be fair, it was a match in which very few Arsenal players covered themselves in glory. Gabriel, called in to start at center back, had some goal-saving tackles and other smart stops. Francis Coquelin was generally sound in his work in the double pivot. Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Özil had some moments of brilliance if not consistently good all-around play.

But Monday's match was definitely about the danger let in by the leaky sieve that was emergency center back Calum Chambers, and Cech's all-around hard work to dispel that danger.

Here's a highlight video (with horrible music) if you want to relive the horror/thank sweet baby Jesus that Cech is in goal:

Petr Cech, our rock in goal, we salute you. (And hope you never have it that bad in there again.)
