Damian "Emi" Martinez has been loaned out by Arsenal to Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers for the 2015-16 season. The loan signifies Arsene Wenger's plans at keeper for this season, with Petr Cech and David Ospina as the remaining two first-team keepers on roster.

Martinez broke through the first-team early last season on quite a few high-profile stages. He notably put in memorable starts versus Borussia Dortmund and Anderlecht in the Champions League group stage, as well as coming on for the injured Wojciech Szczesny during Arsenal's league match versus Manchester United at Old Trafford.

He was relegated back to third-string goalkeeping duties once Szczesny and Ospina returned from their respective injuries, and it was due to this that Wenger decided to loan him to Rotherham United in March for the remainder of last season.

Wenger rates the Argentinian youth international very highly, and with this move he'll surely be happy to see Martinez continue his development in what will be a promising career.
