Sami Khedira, who we named the Transfer Window MVP of Summer 2014 for his frequent appearances in Metro and Daily Mail articles linking him to an Arsenal move, has signed a new deal with Italian champions and Champions League runner-ups Juventus, following the expiry of his current contract with Real Madrid at the end of this month. According to Juve's official website, it's a four-year deal that will take the 28-year-old into his footballing golden years (though don't tell 36-year-old Juventus legend Andrea Pirlo that).

Speaking of Pirlo, he's thought to be headed to either NYCFC or Sydney FC, according to ESPN FC, and this could be a preemptive measure to fill a midfield spot that Pirlo would be vacating. However, Khedira's move to Juve will likely prompt a whole new round of rumors involving two other Juve midfielders, Paul Pogba and/or Arturo Vidal, moving to any number of other Champions League-contending teams, particularly ones in London and Manchester.
