With apologies for the delay, and a bunch of lame excuses about life, busy schedules, and all that jazz (unsatisfied customers can find refunds cheerfully given here), I am here today to talk about Alexis Sanchez.

The deal for Alexis Sanchez was done in Brazil, while Wenger was doing TV for the World Cup, and while everyone was pretty happy about it, no one quite realized how happy Sanchez would make Arsenal and Arsenal fans in 2014-15. When Arsenal struggled, Alexis strapped the team on his back and said "no worries, y'all, I got this".

I was going to try to pick out a few favorite Alexis Sanchez moments, but they all basically comes down to, as Travis put it, "when he scores goals". He does a shit ton more, too - he gets in good spaces, he drags defenders with him, and he's basically the dictionary definition of "indefatigable".

I will say, though, his FA Cup semi-final performance encapsulated who he is and what he means to Arsenal better than almost anything - one good, solid goal and one scrappy, messy goal to give Arsenal a 2-1 win and send them into the final, where he did this.

I could watch that 100 times and never get tired of it. I could also spend 5000 words talking about the finer nuances of how amazing Alexis is, but I won't - all I'll say is that Alexis Sanchez is poised to become the next Arsenal legend, and I'm glad I was able to get in on the ground floor and watch him play every week.
