Not too long ago, we talked about Arturo Vidal. Specifically, about supposed Arsenal interest in the Juventus midfielder, and specifically about Arsène Wenger being asked about that interest right before the FA Cup final. His take was, basically, "is this really the time?" Of course, he was right, it wasn't time for Transfer Mode yet. Not until after beating the hell out of Aston Villa on Saturday, at least.

But now that we're past that, we can get to the fun business of Transfer Mode. And according to the Telegraph's Jeremy Wilson, that does in fact include Arturo Vidal. Wilson says the interest is "genuine," as Wenger wants a player who is both defensive and creative in nature to add to midfield. Arsenal have also enquired about Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton, but evidently the Saints want £25 million from him, so some negotiations would likely be in order there.

But Wilson says Arsenal are definitely looking to add in midfield, and Vidal is definitely a target. That's steps 2 and 3 of 2,361,094 in the transfer process. So we're almost there, guys!
