Ainsley Maitland-Niles loaned to Ipswich

There are some tremendously English names out there. Sir Chips Keswick, for one. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, for another. But when it comes to the most English-sounding name of all, Ainsley Maitland-Niles is tough to top. The little mustache he has just sorta makes it all the more English; all he needs is a monocle at this point, and maybe a bowler.

Anyway, we won't be seeing Mr. Maitland-Niles around Arsenal next season; the 17 year old and his services have been loaned to Ipswich Town. He played primarily CM for the Arsenal U21's this season, but generally prefers to play - and is better at playing - out on the wing, and considering the Ipswich link contained in the Arseblog piece calls him a winger, that is seemingly where Town see him playing as well.

This is a fantastic move - AMN is one of Arsenal's top prospects right now, but at 17 he wasn't really close to cracking the starting 11 at this point. So, Ainsley, go to Ipswich, be a boss, and come back next season ready to earn a place.
