When Arsenal faced Hull City last week, they got a pretty easy victory and three points -- but all was not well. Aaron Ramsey took a boot to the leg from Tom Huddlestone, and though he did play through the knock for a while (even scoring once and assisting another goal), he had to be removed in the 68th minute. Now it looks like there's a chance the kick could keep him out a little longer, according to Arsene Wenger in his pre-match press conference.
He has a big knock on his bone, on his fibula and we'll see how he recovers from that.
When asked if Ramsey was "50-50," Wenger replied in the affirmative. He was also asked about the fact that the same team has played in four consecutive league games.
I am ready to change, but we had the stability on the tactical front, the confidence was there...but I have no problem to change the players because they are all in very good shape, the players who practice.
So in the event that Ramsey can't go, it doesn't sound like Wenger is concerned. Depth can come in.
