Three Arsenal players called up to England squad

Hodgson brings Walcott, Gibbs, and Welbeck into the fold.

The squads for England's upcoming international matches are out, and Roy Hodgson has included three Arsenal players: Kieran Gibbs, Theo Walcott, and Danny Welbeck. Gibbs and Walcott haven't featured much for Arsenal recently, so one might doubt whether they would start for either England's UEFA qualifier against Lithuania or its friendly against Italy (the latter seems a more likely proposition, given their form), but any additional minutes they can get during the interlull will certainly help Walcott and Gibbs fresher for Aresnal's run-in.

That is, of course, unless they pick up some sort of injury sorry I appear to have swallowed my tongue, hold on--

--that's better.

In addition to the senior callups, both Calum Chambers and Arsenal loanee Carl Jenkinson are on tap to play for the U21s, Gareth Southgate calling on each to join his squad for matches against the Czech Republic and Germany.

Good luck to all the Gunners.
