Back to league business this morning, as Everton come to town for a mid-morning/mid-afternoon (delete as appropriate) Premier League clash. It's sort of the appetizer before the Capital One Cup, but nobody cares about that. I care to the extent that I hope that Arsenal sends them both lasagna, but otherwise, that final holds no interest for me.
But enough about that. This is supposed to be about Arsenal! And so it is. We all know the week Arsenal had, so I won't rehash it here - I will just say that I hope today's game is more January League Arsenal than Late February Europe Arsenal. Arsenal of course need to win to keep pace with Manchester United; despite United making off with all three points in their game and claiming third place, with West Brom doing Arsenal a favor yesterday, an Arsenal win will put them back into third and also open up a five point gap between themselves and Southampton in fifth.
