In Arsene Wenger's post game comments today, broadcast by NBCSN and heard by our very own Ted Harwood, he dropped the nugget of joy that is Alexis Sanchez' return date: January 10. There's not a whole lot of additional depth we can give at this point, but at the very least, once we get a clip of the remarks we'll post them here.
In the meantime, do whatever happy dance you deem appropriate given your current surroundings.
UPDATE:
Alexis was planning to be on the bench tonight, but he suffered a "little" setback in training. Alexis had been photographed in training over the weekend, but seemingly only participated in the warm-up.
In other injury news, Mesut Özil was taken off early because he had been suffering from a chest infection all week, only training once, Sunday, before tonight's game. With three league games before Alexis returns, Arsenal will have to juggle around their thin squad in order to give adequate rest.
