Monday cannon fodder

Did you spend the weekend watching soccer? Football? Basketball? Hockey? Not sportsing at all? I went to a birthday party for a one year old, which after Friday was a great way to remind myself that life, overall, does not suck. There was plenty going on this weekend, both sports and not-sports; anything stand out for you?
