Reports from today's Arsene Wenger press conference in Dortmund, ahead of tomorrow's Champions League match against Bundesliga powerhouse Borussia Dortmund, are grim. While there's still no word on the extent of new right back Mathieu Debuchy's injury, various media sources are surmising it's ankle ligament damage in the two-to-three month range. ESPN's UK edition pessimistically says it might be in the same general time-frame as French international teammate Olivier Giroud. If you're scoring at home, Giroud breaks foot on ball, Debuchy destroys ankle on Emirates grass.
And, according to Arseblog, who peeked in on the press conference, there's more. Nacho Monreal and Yaya Sanogo haven't traveled with the team due to some minor undisclosed injuries, and Calum Chambers -- the most logical still-alive Arsenal player to fill in at right back -- is 50/50 tomorrow which what's being called tonsillitis. Hector Bellerin's in the squad in case he'll be needed, and there are rumors that Arsenal will soon move to reactivate Golden Corral.
