Team news: Ramsey a doubt; Arteta, Gibbs, Ozil all fit

Hey, it could be a lot worse.

According to Arsene Wenger yesterday, the Arsenal team has a pretty clean bill of health going into this weekend's match against Manchester City, though there's one very important question mark: Aaron Ramsey.

The first news is not bad. He will be assessed today and he has a little chance to be available for Saturday. He had an ankle sprain but it's a minor one that's for sure. Will it be enough to be available for Saturday? We'll know today.

Again, that was yesterday, and there's been no further information. But while Wenger had feared the worst initially, he sounds confident now that the injury should actually be a minor one.

I would have been haunted in my head by last year's injury that was much more serious than expected at the start. It turned out to be three months, but even if he is not ready for Saturday, this is a short-term injury.

Hopefully this time, that's actually the case.

Aside from Ramsey, we're in pretty good shape. Mikel Arteta and Kieran Gibbs are both in the squad and in "normal training," and although he was kept out of international duty with (you guessed it) an ankle injury, Mesut Ozil should also be available for tomorrow's game.
