Report: Welbeck having medical at Arsenal

Sky Sports News is reporting on television, and now on twitter, that England international forward Danny Welbeck is having a medical at London Colney in anticipation of a move to Arsenal:

Well. That didn't take long!

There is lots of disagreement out there about the quality of this move, and there are no confirmed reports yet of whether it is a loan or a permanent signing (one would imagine the latter, probably, but who knows?), so we'll continue to keep everyone posted about this as things develop.
