We also got a peek at Arsenal's new Puma jerseys!

Arsenal 3 (Smith 44' pen 82', Ohno 74') - Chelsea 0

Starters: Byrne, Scott, Stoney, Fahey, Williamson, Yankey, Kinga, Bailey, Carter, Smith, Ohno

Substitutions: Nobbs for Yankey 65', Knack for Yankey 85'

Make that three wins in a row for Arsenal Ladies, all three across three different competitions. After winning the FA Cup, Arsenal Ladies followed that up with the first FA WSL win of the season. Today, the Gunners grabbed three big points in Continental Cup play, against group leaders Chelsea no less, launching them up to third in Group A.

Our queen Kelly Smith was in fine form today scoring a brace. One goal came from a penalty and the other was straight from the corner kick. Ohno also added one onto the scoreline, and its good to see the Arsenal offense firing on all cylinders. Its been awhile.

Other big news from today's game includes the return of Jordan Nobbs. The midfielder has been out dealing with a back injury since before the season began, so its good to see her back in action for the Gunners. She only put in 25 minutes of work today, but you've gotta start somewhere.

Speaking of starting, congrats to Turid Knaak for starting her loan with the Arsenal today. Knaak is on a two month loan from Bayern Leverkusen. The central midfielder is a regular with the Germany Women's National Team youth squads, and won the UEFA Women's U-17 Championship back in 2007.  For those that don't follow the women's international game, Germany's youth squads can be scary good.

One final note, the Arsenal Ladies wore a limited edition bespoke Puma jersey today, and will wear it again for their match on Thursday, as the official Puma jerseys have yet to be unveiled. That being said, the jerseys probably give us a pretty good idea of what to expect from Puma come July 10, and judging from the leaked pictures they won't look too different from what the Arsenal Ladies showed off today.

Also to keep in mind, the Arsenal Ladies will be the first to wear the brand spankin new Puma Kits after they're unveiled when they face Millwall on the 13th of this month.
