We talked about this a few days ago, and now it's an Official Thing That Has Happened:

Good luck to Carl Jenkinson, who has joined West Ham United on a season-long loan. So, that's that then - Carl has to take the Hammersmith & City line to work instead of the Piccadilly, at least for a year. I like Jenks, but I'm OK with this move overall; this is probably a good move for him. He'll get first team games much more regularly than he would behind Calum Chambers, and by this time next season, he'll be a better, more seasoned player and presumably more prepared to fight for a place next summer, unless West Ham decide to buy him outright.
Isn't this better than previous summers, where Arsenal would lose great players and scramble to replace them?
