There's been a lot of heat around stories that Southampton will sell Morgan Schneiderlin to either Arsenal or some other club for something around £27 million, and there had been some interest in Jay Rodriguez as well. That particular campfire was apparently peed on today by Ralph Krueger, chairman of Southampton, as reported by Sky Sports:
Southampton chairman Ralph Krueger says Morgan Schneiderlin & Jay Rodriguez will not be leaving the club #SSN— Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) July 29, 2014
This was confirmed by Connor Armstrong of, among other places, Here Is The City:

Krueger: "Jay Rodriguez and Morgan Schneiderlin are not for sale and will be a part of our club as we enter the new season." - #SaintsFC— Connor Armstrong (@ConnorArmstrong) July 29, 2014
The big question, of course, is: is this just a negotiating tactic, or is Krueger going to stick to his guns? There is just over a month until the window closes, so Krueger may be playing coy, trying to hold out for better deals for his guys, or he may be serious. He seems serious enough for now, but August is a long month.
