Sami Khedira's Agent Says Words We May Not Want To Hear

Even if you don't think Sami Khedira's 100% of what Arsenal need, I think we can all agree he's a good player and that nobody would storm the Emirates (the stadium, not the nation) if he were to sign.  There's been a lot of buzzing about Khedira's status in the last week or so, and to add fuel to the fire, the not-at-all-integrity-ridden source Transfer Related tweeted this yesterday:

But dumping flour on that grease fire was none other than Khedira's agent, Jorg Neubauer, who said today that Dave Grohl lookalike Khedira "is not in talks with Arsenal and Chelsea".  Now, coming from an agent, this could mean any number of things:

1. He's in talks with other clubs, just not those two
2. He's not not in talks with them, and just wants to play one against the other to get a better deal
3. He's legitimately not in talks with them, but the present-tenseness of the statement could indicate he will be
4. He's legitimately not in talks with them and won't be

As with all things agenty and transfer windowy, there's a lot of salt grains to be consumed here. But we at TSF are nothing if not salt vendors this time of year, so go ahead and lap up today's lovely transfer salt.
