Thomas Müller Reportedly Going To Arsenal (Or Other Places)

The talented German international is reportedly (wait for it) disgruntled at Bayern Munich, and rumors have him ready to ply his trade in the Premier League. (And we don't mean for West Ham or Sunderland.)

Thomas Müller: He's pretty good.

Is everyone at Bayern Munich disgruntled these days?

On the heels of news that Javi Martinez might be headed to Arsenal -- in part, due to displeasure over his lack of playing time -- there are rumors that Thomas Müller might be on his way out as well, with Arsenal one of the possible destinations.

Our colleagues at Bavarian Football Works are busy questioning Müller-to-Barcelona rumors, but as Arseblog reported (snatching up a rumor from Bild), Arsenal (and Liverpool) are interested, while something called Kicker (which 101 Great Goals calls a "leading German magazine") said much the same thing. Meanwhile, over at the Daily Mail, they're trying to simultaneously get Man United's hopes up and crush them.

Some possible stumbling blocks: A £35M price tag, no buyout clause until 2017, will be busy winning the World Cup this summer, is pretty much the face of Bayern Munich, and has been with the club since 2000 as a youth player, before graduating to the senior squad in 2009.

How his season's been: 25 goals and 12 assists in 36 appearances for Bayern this year, with another four goals in seven games for the totally-loaded German national team.
