Every Premier League team did a tribute to the Hillsborough tragedy on Saturday, but today was the actual day in 1989 on which it happened.  If you have ever attended a sporting event in your life and come home uninjured, take a minute now and think of the 96 people at Hillsborough who went to a game and didn't come back.  If you have ever attended a post-1992 Premier League game and sat in a seat, think of the 96 people at Hillsborough whose deaths made that the law of the land.  For better or worse, English football today is what it is in large part because of what happened on April 15, 1989.

Now, on to today's match.  This is a reschedule due to Arsenal's participation in the FA Cup, and that participation was quite lengthy at the weekend, and Thomas has a good recap of what that means for today's Arsenal squad here.  I can't add anything to that, really, so all I will say is that here we are at the business end of the season - time to pull on your business socks, boys, and get to work.  First, put out the recycling - it's not a part of the match but it's very important.
