Swansea City SBN Presence: Why not plan a holiday to Swansea Bay?
Swansea City SBN Presence: Why not plan a holiday to Swansea Bay?
I'm really getting sick of writing previews that have the "pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and do better" tone to them, so I'll try really hard to avoid that here. It's a new week, it's a new opponent, and Saturday's gone - nothing to do now but move forward, right?
Arsenal will be moving forward to face Swansea City tomorrow night. Swansea are currently four points clear of the relegation zone, so they'll have every incentive to come to London and try to capitalize on the seemingly fragile mental state of Arsenal at this point. Arsenal, meanwhile, set out once again to prove that said fragile mental state is a thing of the past.
As usual, I'm more concerned with Arsenal's fragile physical state - news today being that the latest victim of the Arsenal Training Room Goblin is Laurent Koscielny, out for a while with a calf problem. We're starting to get to the point where if you have a clean pair of socks and a willingness to get to London, you might get a game. Good news, though, is that both Ox and Kieran Gibbs, the Look Nothing Alike Twins, are cleared to play thanks to the FA realizing they're wrong sometimes.
We all want to see a response from Arsenal tomorrow; I'd be greedy to want that to be 6-0 to Arsenal, but dammit, we need to put a beatdown on SOMEONE. Why not start with the Welsh?
