Arsenal team depth is in the news today, as they attempt to, y'know, have some depth by recalling Hector Bellerin from his originally-year-long loan at Watford:
OFFICIAL: Hector Bellerin has been recalled by Arsenal from his loan at #watfordfc. We’d like to thank Hector for his contribution at VR

On the one hand, as Arseblog notes, this is actually a somewhat puzzling move, but on the other hand, as we all know by now, Arsenal have a grueling fixture list coming up. With Vermaelen hurt, it can't be a bad thing to have another option on the bench, particularly at the back - even if at this stage in Bellerin's career his first-team shirt's name would read STOPGAP on the back rather than BELLERIN.
So, welcome back, Hector. Train hard with the first team. No offense, but I hope Arsenal don't need you just yet.
