Lineup for Bayern Match: Arsenal Gets a Player, Loses a Player

Good news: Tomas Rosicky is an option for tomorrow's match against the defending Champions League champs. Bad news: Mikel Arteta had that red card against Napoli, so he's out.

Remember these good times? Arteta's unavailable tomorrow because of this.

In today's pre-match press conference, on the eve of Bayern II: The Bayerning (aka, the Champions League rematch from last season that saw Arsenal exit with style and flair but not quite enough goals), Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger announced that Tomas Rosicky would be available to play in tomorrow's match. While Aaron Ramsey's still a few weeks away from returning to the fold, Rosicky's availability will help Arsenal contend with a Bayern Munich squad that will be missing two key players (Xherdan Shaqiri and Franck Ribery), but is still chock-full-o'-talent.

Due to his double yellow in the crapfest that was Arsenal's 2-0 loss to Napoli in Italy -- which sent Arsenal from the easy path to the hard path for the Round of 16 -- Mikel Arteta will serve his CL suspension tomorrow and will be unavailable for the squad. Expect to see Kieran Gibbs, Bacary Sagna and Jack Wilshere -- all who rested in Arsenal's FA Cup triumph over Liverpool this past Sunday -- back in action tomorrow.
