Morgan Schneiderlin, the core of a raging (until their loss to City, anyway) Southampton team and one of the league's best central midfielders, will miss the match at the Emirates on Wednesday due to a problem with his adductor:
Koeman confirms @SchneiderlinMo4 is out of Wednesday's game, and is having a scan on his injured adductor today. #saintsfc

The adductor, wikipedia tells me, (and hey, I can't argue with them, right? right?) is the muscle (there are a few) on the inside of the thigh the brings the leg back towards the center of the body, sort of vaguely near the groin, so not quite sexy enough, I guess.
Either way, this is bad news for the Saints, who couldn't do much against City after the Frenchman had to leave and halftime, conceding to a 10-man Citizens side. His absence should make the jobs of a depleted Arsenal midfield a little bit easier in what is turning out to be a pretty gosh-darned important match against Ronald Koeman's fellows.
