NBC Sports' Pro Soccer Talk and other media outlets looking to fill the Interlull are "reporting" that Arsenal goalie Wojciech Szczesny has been sold to Manchester United for £18.5 million, and after seeking a defensive midfielder to support the team's back four, Arsenal abandoned that search and instead signed PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
At least, that's what Szczesny himself did in a recent game of FIFA15, captured by a Polish film crew working on a story about the goalkeeper. Reportedly, the camera crew caught a glimpse of the game on his TV, and noticed a graphic showing that Arsenal fans were excited about David Ospina's promotion to #1 netminder. At that point, Szczesny revealed that he'd handled the transfer market in the manner of a great number of other FIFA15 players -- that is, to say, the "how-are-you-not-drunk zone."
During the same game, Real Madrid's Karim Benzema became part of the expensive striker platoon at Manchester City, whereas Spurs had to settle for CSKA Moscow's Seydou Doumbia.
