Aaron Ramsey: "I'm not 100%"

The midfielder attributes his sub-standard 2014 form to nagging injuries.

If there's one thing I associate with Aaron Ramsey today, it's scoring the winning goal in the FA Cup final last year. But 16 months ago, the answer probably would have been "injuries." They've plagued his career, and not just the Shawcross leg break. When healthy last year he was Arsenal's best player, and there were hopes that he'd push on from there this season. But it just hasn't happened.

Ramsey thinks a part of the problem is...more injuries.

I’m not worried. I know my qualities. I’ve had a few injuries this season and I’m just getting back. To be honest, I’m still not 100 per cent physically there. It does take a bit out of me. It will take me a few more games to be back to my best. I’m not worried. Certain criticism from people is unfair.

It's not really surprising that Ramsey's trying to play through a few nagging knocks, and it's equally as unsurprising that they'd be negatively affecting his play. I'd say he should take a week to recover but I don't really know what we'd do in the midfield without him there. Find some horse placenta, I guess.
