Aaron Ramsey nearing injury return

The Welshman could be able to play this weekend when Arsenal face Fulham.

Aaron Ramsey has been one of Arsenal's most important players in the 2013-14 season, but he's been sidelined for nearly a month after suffering a thigh injury against West Ham United on Boxing Day. Now the midfielder looks set to return, healthy enough to face Fulham on Saturday in one of the less interesting London derbies available.

It's unclear whether or not Ramsey will be fit enough to start, but with other injuries the team has suffered since his departure, he may need to. Tomas Rosicky had to leave Monday's game at Aston Villa after a stray elbow broke his nose, and Mikel Arteta was unavailable with a lower leg injury. Rosicky is doubtful, according to the Independent's report, but Arteta is likely to be fit. One way or the other, Ramsey's return is very good news for Arsenal. His eight Premier League goals trail only Olivier Giroud, and his 13 in all competitions are best on the team. So hopefully he's quick to return to the form he was in before the injury, and we can get some more stuff like this.
