According to reports very briefly, Olivier Giroud was not going to start as planned for France today as they face Georgia in a World Cup qualifier. To the tweets!

As it seems, Giroud injury is not serious (hint during warm up). Precaution

I was going to tell you to chill out and not riot yet, because it was probably just a little thing and he'd be fine. Then this happened.
SO, Giroud finally starts for France. Aopologize people

I confirm Giroud received a hint (from Evra) on his calf. But still can play

JUST IN: Olivier Giroud has been assessed by the French medical staff and deemed fit to play tonight. #EDF #AFC

Evidently he and Patrice Evra collided in warmups, but he was assessed by trainers and is fine. Now our ire turns to Didier Deschamps, because if his fine-ness is not absolute and Giroud plays, I will be miffed.
Don't ruin my weekend, Didier. Don't you do it.
