Arsenal announce Premier League squad

It's basically all of the players on the team.

Laurence Griffiths

Since the transfer window closed on Monday evening (that was when we bought Mesut Özil, remember?) it's now time for all the squad lists to be finalized. We had the Champions League list earlier today, and I still have no idea whether or not Serge Gnabry is in it.

But I can tell you for certain that he is in the Premier League squad, as an under-21 player. So are pretty much all of Arsenal's other youth players, including guys like Gedion Zelalem, Dan Crowley, Benik Afobe, and Chuba Akpom. Also some guys like Wellington Silva, Joel Campbell, and Jack Jebb, who you may have forgotten are on the team. They are.

More interesting are some of the senior players made available. Nicklas Bendtner, as expected. Abou Diaby, who may actually play this year. Park Chu-Young, who I legitimately thought had left the team like a year ago. Some guy named Mesut Özil.

Basically everyone on the team is in the team, in other words. Which shouldn't be that much of a surprise, but if Park steps on the field at some point, it'll be pretty crazy.
