Cazorla has an ankle problem. He will be out for a few weeks as well. I don’t think he will play before the next international break.
That break is October 6, and I swear to God if Cazorla plays for Spain before he plays for Arsenal I will find Vicente del Bosque and slap him in his face. Arsenal play six times between now and then:
|September 18||Marseille||Champions League||Away|
|September 22||Stoke City||Premier League||Home|
|September 25||West Bromwich Albion||Capital One Cup||Away|
|September 28||Swansea City||Premier League||Away|
|October 1||Napoli||Champions League||Home|
|October 6||West Bromwich Albion||Premier League||Away|
The league matches aren't too terribly challenging, but with a pair of tough European matches mixed in as well as a cup match, this injury may end up being annoying. On the other hand, Arsenal looked pretty good offensively without Cazorla today, so perhaps the line can be held.
