New writer casting call: an update

I just wanted to give you, the readers, an update on the progress being made on this, from the week before last. We've received a bunch of applications and some great writing, and I'm really excited about the quality of what we've gotten so far overall. I want to make sure everyone gets a chance to make a submission, so we'll continue accepting them through Wednesday of this week.

We've started the process of...well, processing what we have. We want to make sure we get the best team possible, so I can't presently set a final announcement date. But as the process continues, we will provide further updates. Think of this like an Arsenal transfer, only you actually get to know what's going on rather than getting mediocre information from Twitter.

I'm really looking forward to getting some new faces on board, and really excited about the candidates we're getting. Keep being awesome, everyone.
