Arsenal managed to hold on after going down to ten men against a rejuvenated West Bromwich Albion in the second half.
Some observations:
- Why were Arsenal still playing a high line? It was very easy for Shane Long to spring the offside trap that Arsenal were sloppily playing a high line. Laurent Koscielny played Long onside and Per Mertesacker had no choice but to bring him down.
- The sun is a hilarious thing. So many miskicks and screw-ups today because the sun was in everyone's eyes. I hate the sun.
- Tomas Rosicky is my favorite. I just like him a lot, okay? Okay. He was great today; his first goal was a great reaction to wrongfoot Foster and head the ball home; his second goal was an exquisite first touch, a destroyer of a first shot, and a clean finish on the rebound.
