Arsenal vs. West Brom: Instant Reaction

Well, that sure was something, wasn't it?  A far-from-vintage Arsenal performance, and a complete shitshow from Smokin' Jack - even with the goal - but hey, a point's a point.  Still on top of the league, albeit by the third tiebreaker (goals scored), unbeaten since Opening Day, and guys are getting healthy.  This game may not feel like it, but it's a solid result on an off day, and that's what teams have to do if they want to stay top of the league.

Arsenal didn't look great; they seemed sorta...desperate?  Disjointed?  I don't really know what to call it, but they didn't have their usual flow to their game, and it was more of a relief than a sign of things to come when Arsenal equalized.  From that point, they had to hold on and they did - job done, on to the next one.

When you combine this result with the West Ham result, it's been a good morning so far, right?  Off to get some breakfast.
