Nicklas Bendtner has joined Serie A champions Juventus on loan earlier today, and he has given an interview in which he talks about looking forward to getting started. He called it "the right step in my career...for my development, this is a big opportunity for me." Asked about the difference between the Premier League and Serie A, he said he couldn't say for now, but maybe in six months' time, he could.

He also said he wanted to remain humble, which made me cough up a bit of phlegm. More after the jump, including the video!

He also remarked about how Antonio Conte encourages an "aggressive passing game", and that he felt that this would be a good match for his skills. He talked about following in the footsteps of Michael Laudrup, and how difficult it would be to follow in his footsteps.

Oh, and he gets to visit Eduardo when Juventus play Shakhtar in the Champions League, and of course, there's a return trip to Denmark...

Overall, about what you'd expect him to say. Still..."humble". Hmm. Either Bendtner has changed quite a lot during his time in the northeast at Sunderland, or...well...hmm. Also, he's wearing a nice turtleneck. Check out the video:
