UEFA Champions League Draw
Thursday, August 30
11:45 AM EDT
Monaco

The draw for the Champions League group stages will take place tomorrow in Monaco, and the four Pots are set for the draw following today's thrilling playoff finishes. Arsenal are in Pot A, because we rule at Europe, but there is a case to be made that teams in the lower pots would much rather draw Arsenal (or perhaps Milan) than any other team in the top Pot.

I say "bah" to that case, myself, but hey.

Pots--in a neat graphic from Graham!--after the jump!

So, Graham MacAree is both good at computer and has too much time on his hands, so he's constructed a little interactive table for us to play around with. Simply mouse over different clubs in different pots, and teams that it cannot draw--because no team can face another member of its federation--will be grayed out. Play around with this until you've memorized every possible combination. There will be a quiz.

Fun, right?

We'll have more after/during the draw tomorrow. Who would you like to see face Arsenal, and why?
