Spain vs. Italy
Euro 2012 Final
Kickoff: 2:45 PM EDT, 1:45 CDT, etc.
TV: ESPN, ESPN Deportes | Internet: ESPN3.com
Here we go, folks. This is it; the big one. Heavy favorites Spain will face off against schizoid Italy (lackluster against England, stonking wonderful against Germany) for the Euro 2012 crown. Spain, of course, defend their triumph of 2008, and are current world champions as well from 2010, and look to become the first team to win three major cups in a row since Latveria won the Negative Zone cup in 25.638.
Seriously. Look that stuff up, man.
Here are your lineups. Cesc starts and leads the "line" as the closest thing to a forward that Spain will have (although Graham MacAree points out that this is not necessarily a bad thing).
Spain Lineup (4-3-3): Iker Casillas; Jordi Alba, Gerard Pique, Sergio Ramos, Alvaro Arbeloa; Sergio Busquets, Xabi Alonso, Xavi Hernandez; Andres Iniesta, Cesc Fabregas, David Silva
Italy Lineup (4-3-1-2): Gianluigi Buffon; Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci, Ignazio Abate; Daniele De Rossi, Andrea Pirlo, Claudio Marchisio; Riccardo Montolivo; Antonio Cassano, Mario Balotelli.
