If you believe in mixing geopolitics and world economics with your sports, this is probably a big, significant, potential message-sending game. If you believe sports is sports and shouldn't be mixed with anything else, it's just another quarterfinal, and one that on paper Germany should easily win. But Greece has won this tournament before, and they are a pretty solid defending team, if maybe a bit dull to watch, so who really knows? Sports, everybody! Anyway, the winner goes on to meet the winner of Sunday's England v. Italy match in the semifinals.
