I would like to file a formal complaint about AC Milan's pitch.

How's that for a pithy opener? Seriously, it's all I could think of.

Jamie Sanderson says we're close to an agreement with Lukas Podolski, that we've already agreed with Cologne, and that there could be an announcement in the next fortnight. We've heard a lot of this before, but as you all know by now, Sanderson's word is near gospel, so that puts another bit of fuel to the fire. He reports the terms to be approximately what Bild reported weeks ago, so it sounds like they had decent sources as well. Either that, or my whole world's about to crash down around me.

Hey look, it's two Tottenham players talking about how they think they can finish above Arsenal! First Gareth Bale, then Louis Saha - I'm not sure whether this should surprise me, but ever since Harry Redknapp said that Wojciech Szczesny shouldn't talk about Spurs, a lot of their players have been talking about the Race for Third. No word yet on whether Redknapp will be levying fines.

Speaking of people saying things, Arsenal legend and Person I'm Mad At Patrick Vieira claims that Manchester United get help from referees. Then he and the club claimed he'd been misrepresented. I just want to know what the hell Paddy is doing at Manchester City. COME HOME I MISS U
