Site update--new authors!

In an effort to bring everyone the best Arsenal content and perspective possible, we here at The Short Fuse are pleased to announce the addition of two new authors to the site. You know them well. Please join Aidan and I in welcoming site members pdb and Thomas Wachtel (the man formerly known as fightoffyourdemons, who also twitters at @twach1441).

Arsenal, of course, are one of the largest clubs in the world, and as such they deserve nothing but the most in-depth coverage possible. As the site grows, two people, even such literary talents as myself and Aidan, had to work like Wilsheres to provide the highest-quality Arsenal content day in and day out. While it might make sense, given that this is an Arsenal blog, to keep the squad thin, we decided to defy logic and add to our numbers.

So, expect more analysis, more opinion, and more coverage going forward. pdb and Thomas are both excellent sports fans in general, huge Arsenal supporters, and write very well (I checked with their English teachers). And welcome, pdb and Thomas--you're in good company. Aidan and I both can't catch breaks with our mismanaged baseball teams either.
