The English Premier League has released the fixture list for the 2011-12 season. For legal reasons, I cannot publish it in its entirety on the blog, but if one is familiar with how the internet works, I think one will have no problem finding a more fully, er, detailed list (there's a link above, for instance).
Some things to note:
August is going to be a little tricky. Opening at Newcastle United, scene of one of last season's most stupefying days, then Liverpool at home, then Manchester United away, with the two Champions League qualifiers making the bacon in this club sandwich of matches. Hopefully it's a delicious homemade club sandwich, and not a late-night gas-station desperation club sandwich.
The Tottenham Hotspur derbies are away in early October and home in late February.
April is going to be wicked; Manchester City, Chelsea, and possible really hard matches in the Champions League, if available.
Finally, I just want to say how nice it is to see Norwich, Queens Park Rangers, and Swansea on the schedule; some old/new clubs to face, all of whom I kind of like, personally!
