According to an interview with Arsène Wenger on the club's official website, Arsenal's utility midfielder Abou Diaby is still suffering from a calf strain and will not be available for Sunday's match against Manchester United at Emirates Stadium.
Thomas Vermaelen, who has missed most of the season with an achilles tendon problem, is playing today in the reserves match, but will not play on Sunday. Johan Djourou and Laurent Koscielny will most likely start at central defense for Arsenal.
Everyone else, bar long-termer Lukasz Fabianski, is "basically available", according to Wenger. It is hard to imagine the manager picking anything other than his strongest XI of Szczesny, Sagna, Djourou, Koscielny, Clichy, Song, Wilshere, Fabregas, Walcott, van Persie, and Nasri for a match against league leaders and archrivals United, but some of the players are looking very tired lately. One might not be surprised to see a start for Aaron Ramsey or Andrei Arshavin.
