Midfielder Aaron Ramsey could go on load to Cardiff, the club where he started his professional career, according to an interview with manager Arsène Wenger on the club's official website. The young Welshman has been struggling to regain match fitness after suffering a broken leg against Stoke last February, and Wenger suggests that another loan spell will give Ramsey the playing time he needs.
"I don’t want [Ramsey] to go to a Premier League club because I want him to finish the season with us. I just look for competition for him," he said during his official press conference today. Ramsey just completed a loan spell at Nottingham Forest that didn't afford him the amount of playing time that Wenger hoped he would see in a bid to return to match fitness.
Also potentially going out on loan are winger Carlos Vela (to Bolton Wanderers, where Jack Wilshere had a successful loan last year) and midfielder Henri Lansbury (back to Norwich City, where he was on loan during the autumn months).
