According to the official Arsenal website, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, striker, winger, midfielder, center half, and possibly goalkeeper, has gone on loan to Championship promotion hopefuls Cardiff City.
After serving as captain of the side that won the FA Youth Cup in 2009, Emmanuel-Thomas was hotly favored to be the next big youth prospect for Arsenal alongside Jack Wilshere. An imposing figure blessed with quick feet for his size, JET also offers a good amount of versatility, able to play in numerous positions.
Cardiff sit third in the Championship at the moment, two points off the promotion pace and five behind leaders Queens Park Rangers. Hopefully Emmanuel-Thomas will get plenty of playing time against quality opposition, allowing him to blossom into the solid player that he hopefully can become for Arsenal.
