Arsenal transfer deadline day dealings: Armand Traore to Juventus, Nacer Barazite to Arnhem

It has been a quiet transfer deadline day for Arsenal. In the only two moves of note that have taken place involving the club, left-back Armand Traore has been loaned to Serie A side Juventus, and reserves striker Nacer Barazite has been loaned to Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem.

There was no other movement involving current Gunners, although former Arsenal midfielder Alexsandr Hleb has joined up with Birmingham City on loan from Barcelona.

The big movers today included Stoke City (three players in, including former Gunner Jermaine Pennant and former Chelsea striker Eidur Gudjohnsen, and two out) and Sunderland, who spent a reported 13 million pounds to acquire Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan from Rennes.
