It's hard to believe it's almost over. Two Arsenal players are still standing: Robin van Persie of (van) the Netherlands, whose tournament has been a bit of a struggle so far, and Mr. Cesc Fabregas (take that, autolink!), who has mainly featured as an impact substitute in Spain's midfield. The game has been cast as a battle between an aesthetically subtle and pleasing Spanish passing and possesion game and a simple Dutch strategy of midfield destruction and forward creativity, sort of the international version of the Inter-Barcelona matchup from this year's Champions League. It will be great to see how the Dutch defensive midfielders cope with both Spain's passing and pressing.
