So many two-nils. Like six of them this week? And I'd have loved a seventh from our little clash at Villa Park, but instead I got diarrhea and angina.
Anyway, lots of scoring this week! Many, many people scored on 8/10 games, which is fairly uncommon, although not unexpected in a week where there were no drawn matches. Lots of greenening of the spreadsheet! And we're off to Week 22 just like that!
Also, by way of forewarning, there is some weirdness in scheduling coming up due to FA Cup matches. So Week 23's post will come up sooner than expected, and will cover PL matches on Jan 28/29, then Week 24 will be hot on its heels for matches on Feb 1/2/3.

THE PODIUM: hansdampf and silverace99 are highfiving up there! And the silver tier is empty again, leaving Scrupio very, very lonesome on the bronze tier. You guys could at least lowfive him from that lofty perch. Jerks.
Philly37 WISHFUL THINKING PICK OF THE WEEK: Goes to Adnan Ilyas and jellomon, who don't understand yet that Manchester City is going to win every game ever again forever. Both of them picked Newcastle to beat them 2-1. The rest of us welcomed our new Citizen Overlords, and scored points from their glorious victory.

hansdampf is just pushing that lead out every so slightly every week. Much like a glacier, he will eventually crush us all by this method. Or perhaps this whole global warming thing will speed up and he'll melt, causing the sea level to rise and flooding anyone who lives on a coastline. There's probably a less clunky metaphor in there somewhere, but I'm not that kind of a writer. Though I'm pretty good with the penis jokes, I guess.

Nothing new here, we're still chasing sluellwitz and his 15(3). I'm going out on a limb here and predicting all of us score some Cup points this week. To the picks!
