Finally, some good news concerning Santi Cazorla! As noted on Ladyarse's gossip page this morning, Sphera Sports published an interview with Our Favorite Spainard which asked about, among other things, the ankle injured during the Interlull earlier this month. He's looking to return to action for the Champions League tilt against Napoli on Oct. 1, assuming all goes well with his recovery. Since Napoli beat Dortmund in its Champions League opener, a win against Rafa Benitez's squad would put Arsenal atop the "Group of Death" and very likely would lead to hilarious Rafa Benitez faces like this one.
Other topics covered in the interview include the arrival of Özil (he's happy about it), Arsenal's prospects (he's cautiously optimistic), the rumors that Atletico was trying to him this summer (just rumors), Leighton Baines (he's impressed by him), and his Chelsea counterpart Juan Mata (he's bummed that The Great One is leaving Mata on the bench).
So, if all goes well: Cazorla and Özil, together, finally, a week from today. Pants, you've been warned.
